Whitney is so honored to share with you the conversation that she had with Ernie Jackson, whose son Quinton transitioned in June 2009 when he was nine years old. Whitney traveled to a grief support meeting last month to hear Ernie speak in person, but his talk on forgiveness was more than she expected. Because Whitney understands the struggle of forgiving yourself when something tragic happens to your child, but what about when you have to forgive someone else for their involvement? Whitney and Ernie discuss forgiveness, but also the compassion in general that has bloomed after the devastation of grief.
