Could You Have Stopped Your Child’s Death? 050

Whitney always dreamed of being a mom. She knew she was going to be the best mom, keeping her kids safe and raising them to be amazing people. Until one night the unexpected happened and her twin son Orion died in an accident. Whitney started to ask herself, “Was this my fault?”

In the 3 years since Orion died Whitney has met a lot of grieving parents asking themselves the same question, convinced that if only they had done something different then their child would still be alive today.

In today’s episode Whitney addresses a difficult question of “Do we have ultimate control?” Whitney shares her perspective on safety measures that are necessary, but do they also contribute to an illusion that we can prevent every bad thing from happening?
